You might have seen a few "favorite things" parties popping up on your TikTok or Instagram feed. And, we are here to say, it's worth the hype!
What is a Favorite Things Party?
Think about all your go-to products you use on a daily basis. A Favorite Things Party is where you bring one of your favorite items for each of your friends, and swap items. This way your friends can try out the products and things you LOVE. Consider this like a mini influencer party where you get to influence your friends to try a product you like to use.
How to Throw a "Favorite Things" Party
Planning
After you choose a date + the hosting house, work on putting together your invites with a brief explanation. Use this template for inspo!
Budget
Consider setting a budget on the item, so everyone knows a good range of what they can bring and no one feels left out!
The Favorite Things
After you get the RSVPs, ask each invitee to bring X number of items for all those attending. If you have a bigger party, consider asking them to bring 2-4 and you can draw from a pile instead! You can ask your friends to wrap them individually or bring a bag to leave them in while you are announcing, so it can be "revealed!"
Set-Up
Consider a table or a comfy place where you can sit in a circle! This way, everyone can see what the other brought and you can easily swap.
Sharing Your Favorite Thing
Set up a number drawing, so you can determine who goes first for sharing their favorite thing! Start with the first number, and have them share the item they brought and why they love it!
Snacks + Drinks
Check if anyone is bringing a food or drink that you could plan around, if not, you have a clean slate! Think about something you could set on the table while you "present" your faves.
