Wholesome After-Work Activities
We spend 40 hours a week at work, so you better believe that you need to soak up the summer in the rest of your time!
The longer summer sun hours provide the perfect chance for us to embrace after work fun. One of my favorite podcast is the Fun On Weekdays podcasts, because I LOVE the concept of it! We should be able to have fun after work and enjoy every single piece of life we can.
In this blog post, we'll explore some of the most refreshing and fun ways to make the most of your summer nights, ensuring that every day ends on a positive and fulfilling note. So, let's dive in and discover how you can transform your 5-9 after your 9-5.
Go for a Walk
I know this one might seem obvious, but get outside and walk! My personal favorite is to go to a new neighborhood and walk around. I love to get a change of scenery, snoop on new spots, and admire all the fun houses. Check out the local parks and nature trails in your area as well.
Join a League
A community sports league, like softball, kickball, volleyball, cornhole - not only can be a source for exercise but you could also meet some new people, too!
Garden
A little afterwork gardening! Flowers, fruits, veggies. Start a little garden for yourself and watch it grow over the remaining part of summer!
Start a Book Club
With friends, family, or neighbors, where you can discuss your latest reads while enjoying a glass of wine or cup of tea!

Get Out on The Water!
If you’re near water, kayaking or paddleboarding at a local lake or river can be super fun! For all our Florida girlies, there are tons of kayak and paddleboarding memberships out there where you can join and pick up your gear near the water at their sites.
Have a Friend Dinner
Who says friendsgiving is the only time to have a friends dinner? Start a weekly or monthly meet up where everyone brings a dish to pass, or you cook it up together! Experiment with new recipes that incorporate seasonal produce for a fresh and tasty meal.
Catch the sunset somewhere
Find your favorite sunset spot. Beach, local park, a bench in your neighborhood! Don't go chasing waterfalls does not apply to sunsets - find that perfect view and bring some snacks, an Ollipop, and a blanket to watch!
We hope these are plenty of ideas to get you through the summer! Check back in with us every Friday and Monday for more tips and inspiration!
