Things To Do On Labor Day Weekend

We love a long weekend, don't we?!

Next weekend is Labor Day weekend! The holiday weekend we love for an extra weekend day, but it also might not be our favorite since it's considered the unofficial end of summer.

Whichever side of the fence you are on, we have to make the most of our long weekend! We created a full list of fun things you can do next weekend, other than binge-watching your latest Netflix series (mine's Reba, wby?) inside.

  1. Picnic in the Park: Pack a lunch and head to a local park for a relaxing day outside!

  2. Beach Day: If you live near the water, make the most of it with a beach day.

  3. Camping: Plan a fun camping trip with your friends or family at a local site.

  4. Barbecue: Host a barbecue with family and friends.

  5. Local event hop: Check out your city's local live music, parades, or other events!

  6. Staycation: Book a local hotel for a night or two and enjoy a mini-vacation without going too far from home.

  7. Pool day: Have a fun pool day with your family and friends, or break out a sprinkler or slip 'n slide instead!

  8. End of Summer Potluck Dinner: Organize a potluck dinner where everyone brings a dish with their favorite summer food or last picks from their summer garden!

  9. Shopping Spree: An end of summer closet clean out is always on my list, so a closet refresh for the new season is sometimes a must! Check out your local thrift shops to drop off your old items and pick up some new-to-you finds!

  10. Paint + Sips Night: Have a relaxing painting and sips night with your girls!

  11. Volunteer: Since there are so many people out and about, there are opportunities to help clean up the mess afterwards, too. Volunteer for a beach clean-up to help out your community.

  12. Dog Days of Summer: Organize a fun dog park visit with all your dog mom friends.

Which of these are you stealing for your weekend?
