A Review of Tampa's Wine Window

If you didn't quite sneak in a summer trip to Italy this year, don't worry, you can get a little glimpse of Europe right here in Tampa...

"Buchette del vino" or wine windows were quite popular in Florence, Italy. So popular that they made it all the way over to us in Tampa!

Buchette opened in Davis Island in the spring and has been serving up spritz all summer. I finally got the chance to go and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

Buchette is right outside the Oggi Italian restaurant, right on the main street of Davis Island. You can walk right up to the bar and check out the menu. Once you place your order, you go to the right and find the cutest decorated alley with a small window to pick up your order! There are plenty of tables you can sit and enjoy your drinks.

Here's what I got:

Elderflower Spritz: 9/10

Super good! It wasn't too sweet, just super refreshing and had a light floral flavor.

The Meryl: 11/10

This was SO good! If you're also a fan of anything lavender, you have to go, especially for this. The perfect summer drink to match this hot Florida sun!

The Charcuterie Board: 9/10

I am an avid charcuterie connoisseur, so don't take this lightly! Their cheese options were fresh and tasty. You can order the apps inside and they bring them to the outside tables for you, a win-win for an after-work happy hour and snack!

Are you adding this to your happy hour list? We'd highly recommend it!
