Red Flags to Look Out For In Jobs

New year, new job?

Here are some red flags to look out for while applying for new roles!

🚩 Unclear job description

If the job description is all over the place, chances are you'll likely feel that way in that role, too.

🚩 Too many roles in one

If the job description ranges from SEO to Recruiting, to grocery shopping: red flag! When companies try to fit too many roles into one, it will only make you feel overwhelmed with so much on your plate under so many different categories.

🚩Poor employee reviews

Review sections spill all the tea. We get it, there will always be one disgruntled employee that thinks everything abut the company is wrong, but if you find a lot of negative reviews and little to none on the positive sign, it could be something to beware of.

🚩Unorganized interview process

If they are unorganized right from the start, it could be a bad sign. First impressions should give you an insight to how the rest of the relationship should be.

🚩Doesn't align with your values

If the company does align with your personal values from the start, it's probably not a good fit!

🚩 No room for growth or opportunities

Ask questions about company growth or room for opportunities to ensure that the job can grow with you!

🚩Unwilling to discuss certain topics in the interview process

HUGE red flag if they avoid certain topics or questions during your interview.

Watch out for these common red flags when it comes to finding your next dream role. Best of luck on your job search!
