Hair Masks You Have To Try While You Work From Home

No Zoom meetings today? Sounds like the perfect opportunity for a little self-care to me!

One major work-from-home perk is that you can get comfortable in your own space and still get work done, aka, you can totally do a hair mask at your desk without getting a weird look (unless it's from your pet - we know they are the most judgemental of co-workers!)

Here are some hair masks you should try while working from home:

  1. Coconut Oil and Honey Mask: Mix coconut oil and honey in equal parts, warm the mixture slightly and apply it to your hair. Leave it on for 30 minutes, then rinse. This mask can help hydrate and repair damaged hair.

  2. Avocado and Olive Oil Mask: Mash a ripe avocado and mix it with a tablespoon of olive oil. Apply this mixture to your hair, focusing on the ends. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes and then wash it out. Avocado is rich in healthy fats that can nourish your hair, and olive oil provides additional moisture.

  3. Banana and Yogurt Mask: Blend a ripe banana with a few tablespoons of plain yogurt to create a creamy mask. Apply it to your hair, leave it on for about 30 minutes, and then rinse. This mask can add shine and manageability to your hair.

  4. Honey and Cinnamon Mask: Mix honey and a pinch of cinnamon to create a hair mask that may promote hair growth. Leave it on for about 15-20 minutes before rinsing.

  5. Mayonnaise Mask: Mayonnaise contains oils and eggs, which can be nourishing for your hair. Apply a few tablespoons of mayonnaise to your hair, leave it on for 30 minutes, and then rinse thoroughly.

  6. Oatmeal and Milk Mask: Cook oatmeal and mix it with milk to form a paste. Apply this mask to your hair and scalp, leave it on for 20-30 minutes, and rinse. Oatmeal can help soothe an itchy or flaky scalp.

  7. Argan Oil Mask: Mix a few drops of argan oil and apply it to your hair. Leave it on for 30 minutes, then wash it out. This mask can add moisture and reduce frizz.

You can leave these masks in longer/shorter, depending on your hair type and preference. Remember to always take time for self-care, even if it's not while you work from home!
